Why do you use Pivot Point heads?
Because it’s important to use the best quality for my students- there is nothing worse than going on a course with rubbish heads!
What makes Pivot Point heads stand out training equipment?
I used to train for the world skill competitions when I was 19 so I got to use them then. They are seen as the pinnacle of training heads- so I naturally wanted to choose them for the academy.

Why are Pivot Point training heads useful for salons?
It’s just better to spend a bit more money and they actually look after them. The blonde ones are banging because you can actually colour them! So many say you can’t and the reality is you can.
Which is your favourite Pivot point head and why?
We use Diane (blonde) for our colour bleeding classes in the Not Another Academy because they actually are light enough. Saying that, you can’t do pastels- but that’s not an issue for us.
What do training heads offer trainee stylists?
The ability to push yourself without fear of the client. There is nothing worse than holding back because you worried on what they are going to say!
