definitions

In these terms and conditions ‘The Seller’ means Salons Direct Ltd, and ‘The Buyer’ means the purchaser of goods from ‘The Seller’ under these terms and conditions. ‘The Website’ means www.salonsdirect.com and its content.

If you use the website you will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You must ensure that the password is kept confidential. If you believe that your password has become known to anyone else, you must inform us immediately.


prices

Prices and special offers are correct at the time of goods being displayed on The Website but are subject to alteration without prior notice. Prices are exclusive of VAT at the ruling rates and delivery costs. VAT is not charged on books. It is possible that some of the products in our catalogue may be mis-priced. If a product’s correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and send you the product. If a product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on the website, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch, or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

When you place an order to purchase an item from Salons Direct Limited, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we dispatch that product to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we dispatch the product to you. Any products on the same order which are not dispatched, do not form part of that contract.

Payment must be made prior to despatch of all goods.

returned goods


If goods have been ordered in error or are not as expected, a returns authorisation must be requested. The reference number issued by The Seller in relation to the returns authorisation must be quoted on all accompanying documentation. Goods must be returned within seven days of receipt, unused, in perfect condition and sent back in their original packaging. Carriage for alternative items to be paid by The Buyer.

The Seller accepts no responsibility for lost parcels without receipt of postage.

Due to strict hygiene regulations, The Seller cannot accept returns of items such as scissors, clippers or razors which have been used. This list is not exhaustive. Goods returned damaged as a result of poor packaging on the part of The Buyer will not entitle The Buyer to a full credit. Your statutory rights are not affected.


shortages and damages


Title in any goods or products ordered will pass to you once payment has been made in full.
Goods and products will not be charged for until they become ready for despatch.
Goods or products which make up your order may be sent in instalments.

Goods will be despatched to the address given during the order confirmation process that you complete.


delivery

The Seller’s policy is to despatch goods within 72 hours of receiving an order, however this can vary depending on stock availability. Times quoted are in good faith, but shall not be binding. The Seller can accept no responsibility for transport delays causing late delivery. Some furniture or special order items may take up to 6 weeks for delivery.

£4.95 plus VAT is the set delivery charge for the UK.
Special delivery charges will be quoted upon request


overseas orders

We welcome orders from anywhere in the world. Please remember carriage will vary upon destination and weight of parcel. We will not process orders or despatch goods to countries where we are prohibited from doing so by law.

cancellations

Prior to despatch, non standard items and special order items cannot be cancelled. Orders cannot be cancelled once the goods have been despatched.

Goods are sold on the understanding that they will be used only for their intended purpose. No responsibility will be accepted by The Seller for trained on untrained personnel without qualified supervision using or misusing goods and equipment supplied by The Seller.

All offers on The Website are subject to stock availability and The Seller reserves the right to restrict or refuse any order at any time.

We take special care to show correct sizes and specifications and such descriptions and specifications, whist given as a guide and in good faith, are subject to alteration by The Seller without notice.

All colours are as near as can be displayed on a computer monitor.

Stock is allocated on a 'first-come-first-served' basis once your order reaches our main server. The Seller does not guarantee the availability of any item based on the stock figures shown.

Salons Direct Limited reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order you will not be charged.

All content included on the website is the property of Salons Direct Limited or our suppliers. All software used on this website is the property of Salons Direct Limited or our software suppliers. You may not extract or reutilise part of the contents of the website without the written consent of Salons Direct Limited.

Salons Direct Limited grants you a limited licence to access and make personal use of this website, but not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it except with the written consent of Salons Direct Limited. This licence does not include any resale or commercial use of this website or it’s contents, any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another seller.
