Boost your salon business this summer with offers and package deals that are sure to have your appointment book full and your till flowing!

1. Perfect Pedicure

A perfect pedicure is on the checklist of every holidaymaker at this time of year, so why not offer a half price pedicure when the client books another treatment with you? Manicures and pedicures are great services to upsell your clients with too, as you can add on a paraffin treatment, or a gel polish service!

2. Party Sessions

If you have the space, a great idea to get more clients through the door in the Summer season is by holding themed events. Give away free nibbles and drinks, and offer clients taster treatments so you can showcase the full repertoire of services that you offer. Either charge an entry free and give the client a free mini treatment while they are there, or reduce the prices and time of a regular treatment to allow a client to sample the service.

3. Loyalty Schemes

Loyalty schemes can work really well for a salon/therapist, particularly during the busier Summer season. Not only will having a list of loyalty card customers give you an audience to target with exclusive offers, but you could invite them in for treatments on a normally quiet day and give them a discount, or a special package offer on a range of treatments.

Using the loyalty scheme, you could offer a discount off a treatment after the client receives so many, or you could allow the client to earn “minutes’ for each treatment they have, which they can then redeem at a later date.

4. Package Deals

The Summer is the time of year when most people jet off on holiday for a break, so what better way to guarantee that treatments will be booked in your salon, than by offering a package deal to your clients. You could offer up to 5 holiday-related treatments e.g. Brow shape and tint, spray tan, manicure and pedicure and give the client a generous discount on the regular price. For you, this means you have booked in treatments, and the client gets a great deal – everyone is happy!

5. Free Gifts

Groupon and other discount sites are making it hard for many salons to remain competitive and keep business. One way to keep your salon competitive is to offer clients a little gift when they receive a treatment – e.g. A pair of flip flops after a pedicure, or a nail polish after a manicure. You could even run a prize draw where clients are in with a chance to win a higher value item such as a pair of straighteners or a product hamper.
