Beauty Therapist Problems

The glitter conundrum…

You have never, ever known struggle until you have tried to remove glitter nail polish.

Ain’t no rest for the wicked…

Feeling your heart sink when you see a full day of clients booked in with only a 30 minute lunch break for the whole day.

A naked encounter…

When you say to a client: “Okay just get down to your underwear and cover yourself with a towel.” When you return… They’re on top of the towel… exposed.

Don’t put a foot put wrong…

The occasions where you listen to a client slagging off the last salon she went to and feeling like you’re treading on eggshells incase you do anything wrong.

Hairy toes…

It should be mandatory that each pedicure comes with a toe wax. Simple.

The smell of feet…

It goes without saying that the worst smell to get off your hands, is the smell of somebody else’s feet.

Beauty opportunist…

The opportunity to sneakily text your mate back when your client has a face mask and eye pads on.

I’ll be the judge of that…

Finding yourself in another salon having a pamper session and secretly judging their every move.

Non existent toenails…

The times when a client has a non existent little toenail, what more can you do than put a splodge of nail varnish on the skin so it doesn’t feel left out.

NOTD pics – harder than a selfie…

When you try to take a picture of your pretty new nails and trying about a 100 at different angles, it’s worse than taking a selfie – trust us.

Spoilt for choice…

When you want to try out all of your new gel polish colours at once!
