What is the Schwarzkopf FibrePlex range?
Schwarzkopf has created a range of hair products to be used to prevent hair damage and breakage while undergoing treatments such as lightening, lifting or colouring. It’s the first Bond enforcing system that they’ve created and impressively, it can prevent up to 94% of hair breakage.
How does it work?
Each product from the FibrePlex range is suited for each stage of the colouring process to ensure hair is given the best treatment possible. The main focus of these products is to make sure hair fibres are in top condition and to avoid breakage. As a result of this, clients will keep hair both strong and healthy during and after the treatment.
What products are available to buy from the Fibreplex range?
The Schwarzkopf Bond enforcing system range consists of three products:
N°1 Bond Booster: During the hair colouring process, hair can very easily become damaged. It’s important to make sure it’s protected during this to ensure client’s hair stays healthy and strong. The additive is added into the lightening, lifting or colouring system and applied to the hair. It works by merging with hair fibres which then create a strong bond on the hair which reduced the amount of breakage that otherwise might be caused.
How it’s used:
Mix FIBREPLEX N°1 Bond Booster and colour or lightening product well. Apply and process according to the instructions for use. Rinse off and shampoo the hair as usual.
N°2 Bond Sealer: Following the application of the Bond Booster, hair treatment should be followed up by the sealer to ensure hair is kept supple and shiny. By using this, it will protect the outer surface of the hair.
How it’s used:
For best results, use with Fibreplex number 2 Bond Sealer, left for 5 to 10 minutes, rinse and then style the hair as usual.
N°3 Bond Maintainer: Once the client has left the salon, it’s important that the level of care is maintained at home and this can be done through using the FibrePlex number 3 bond maintainer twice a week at home. It helps to improve their hair significantly while protecting it from damage.
How it’s used:
Simply guide your clients into using this product and to apply it from root to tips. Leave it for 5 minutes and rinse and style their hair.
What hair colouring services are available?
For superior hair quality after colouration services, there are three types Schwarzkopf offer including:

Bond Enforcing Lifting Service: A protection of the hair from breakage during regular roots touch ups or hair that’s highlighted

Bond Enforcing Switching Service: Will protect the hair from breaking during a regular or drastic colour change

Hi Belinda, the starter kit contains 1x100ml of No.1 Bond Booster & 2x100ml of No.2 Bond Sealer. This is enough product for up to 17 applications. Hope this helps.
