How do I create the Elegant Ebony Ecaille look?
Step 1: Use EIMI Perfect Me as a cutting lotion to optimise the hair. Customise your own lotion by adding some EIMI Perfect Me into your water spray. This will nourish the hair throughout the lengths Remember to spray the hair often to keep it wet. Section the head into four sections. Start to cut the first sections. Start to cut the first section with a slightly curved line and no elevation, working with the natural fall. Working one side first, comb the hair from the natural fall towards the longest point, then continue the process up.
Step 2: Proceed with the same technique from the ear section all around the head, to finish on the opposite side, at the ear section. Always keep your guideline and check your balance before starting to cut another step. this will enable you to progress with the same length all the way through your cut.
Step 3: Divide the front section with horizontal sections and cut straight to the desired length without any elevation.
Step 4: For the other side, proceed with the razor to create a softer texture. Work at a 45 degree angle towards the front. Carry on with the razor at the back without any elevation: Press the hair against the neck and define the final hair length.
Step 5: Separate the back of the top section – define your guideline to the desired length in the middle of the section and cut square. Then proceed with a horizontal section towards the front.
Tip: For the last section at the front, slightly over-direct the section back to create a soft and natural graduation. Make the connection with the sides of your section.
Step 1: Keep the focus on the front section of the triangle from crown to hairline. Take a small horizontal slice, placing it on a colour wrap. Draw triangles and pre lighten to create interlocking shine lines. Continue with the next three sections in the same way.
Step 2: Leave a section out then create the triangle in the middle of the next section to fill in the space of the previous sections. Shampoo and neutralise with Blondor Seal and Care.
Step 3: Section off the previous triangle. Now start on the right-hand side, taking small vertical slices. Alternate two back-to-back slices with colour A, B, C.
What is the finished result?
