Introducing Lisa from The Hadleigh Hair Lounge...
We recently had the pleasure of working with The Hadleigh Hair Lounge, a gorgeous eco-friendly salon based in Hadleigh, Suffolk, and owned by the lovely (and super talented!) salon owner Lisa Ashford who’s been in the industry since she left school.
Starting out as an apprentice and going on to manage the salon when it opened back in 2007, Lisa eventually took over the reins in 2013 and has built a warm, welcoming space with a loyal clientele and a clear ethos around sustainability and comfort.
Designing a Space That Matches the salons Ethos
When Lisa got in touch with our Salon Design Service team, she was looking to refresh the first-floor colour area, a key space for clients and stylists alike. She had an idea in mind but wanted to make sure it was really going to work with the layout and space available.
That’s where our design team came in.
After visiting the salon, we took the time to really listen to what she wanted and worked closely with her to build out the look.
We brought in fabric and colour swatches to help guide the design process and make sure every element felt right.
The goal?
A calming, warm and earthy feel that aligned perfectly with her sustainable ethos – and created an inviting atmosphere for both clients and her team.

Custom Features and Thoughtful Finishes
One of the standout elements of the transformation was a bespoke styling unit, designed specifically to suit the space and built through our salon design service team.
And to help her stay on budget without compromising on her dream set-up, we introduced our new Kennet Leasing finance programme.
This allowed her to get exactly the furniture Lisa wanted, while spreading the cost in a manageable way.
It’s little things like this that can make a huge difference when you’re redesigning your salon – making it achievable without needing to cut corners.
