What happened at the show?
Well, the glitz and glam of Salon International has come to an end for another year and this year really didn’t disappoint. Whether you’re an aspiring student looking for new ideas or a legendary stylist such as Patrick Cameron showing off your latest creations, Salon International had something for everyone.
When we could nip away from our stand we took the opportunity to watch Simon Shaw’s energetic performance at the Wahl Academy stage as well as taking in the fantastic work being shown on the Babyliss stage by HUGE¬†NAMES such as Adam Reed.
For the rest of the time though we were rushed off our feet on our own stand. We ran 3 awesome competitions; a prize drawer in which one lucky contestant won £1000 pounds worth of hairdressing goodies, a Facebook competition for £500 pound store credit and Twitter comp in which one lucky winner won an Ipad for tweeting in a picture of herself with a Salons Direct shopping bag.
As well as this we also found the time to present the latest addition to the Salons Direct family, the fantastic Elchim hairdryer range. The Elchim brand has been famous in Italy and California for many years and has been used to style the hair of big name celebs. Until now it was impossible to buy these dryers in the UK but they are now available exclusively with Salons Direct.
