*Mainland UK only. For orders placed before 5pm Monday to Thursday, we aim to deliver the next working day. Please note, we cannot guarantee next day delivery following a bank holiday weekend. Next Day Delivery is unavailable to the following Mainland Scotland postcodes, orders placed to these locations will be sent on a 2-3 day service: AB31, AB33-35, AB41-54, IV30-32.

Furniture/Large Items
Furniture orders under 30kg will be charged at standard delivery rates and delivered by DPD.
Furniture orders over 30kg will be charged at £30 (ex VAT) per order to Mainland UK, and will be delivered via 2 person delivery by AIT Home Delivery, on a date of your choice.***
Please note: If your order includes both standard items and furniture/large delivery items, they may arrive on different days due to standard items being shipped via DPD and larger items via our 2-person delivery service via AIT Home Delivery.


Once your order is confirmed you will receive an order confirmation email. Our customer service team will then book your 2-person delivery on to AIT’s portal for the next available delivery date.


Once your delivery day is confirmed on AIT’s portal, you will receive an email from AIT with a tracking link. The evening before your assigned delivery day, AIT will send you a 2-hour delivery slot via email and SMS.


Your AIT driver will give you a call 30-60 minutes before to confirm their estimated time of arrival.


Your order is delivered to you by a two-person team, signed for and photographed.
Furniture/Large items – Offshore UK Delivery

Please note: Once your order has been confirmed, our courier will be in contact with you to confirm a delivery date.
*** Our courier will deliver to a ground floor/first floor location. Extra charges may be incurred for failed deliveries if you are not available to accept you pre-arranged delivery day. We advise that tradesmen who are booked to install items should only be arranged once in receipt of the goods. Salons Direct is not liable for delayed, missing or damaged parcels/contents if a delivery signature has not been obtained, when the parcel has been left in a designated safe place at your request. If you wish to make amendments to your delivery address once an order has been placed, please speak to a member of our Customer Service Team. We are unable to change your delivery address on orders paid by PayPal or Klarna. Bespoke furniture orders have a longer lead time, please refer to the product page for more information. Any damage/missing items must be reported to Salons Direct within 48 hours of delivery.
UK Offshore Delivery
Delivery charges for orders outside of Mainland UK are charged per 30kg, on a 2-3 day service via DPD. Please see charges below:


Custom Charges
Orders placed for delivery outside the UK, may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the goods reach the specified destination. Any additional charges for Customs clearance must be paid by you; Salons Direct Limited has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. It is your responsibility to comply with all the laws and regulations in the country in which you are receiving the goods.
If you refuse to pay the charges levied by customs and excise or the delivery is unsuccessful and the goods are returned to us, then you will be liable for the return shipment fees and these will be deducted from any refund due. As from 1st January 2021 there may be additional customs fees to pay for customers within the EU and Northern Ireland. These fees are levied by your local customs and must be paid directly to them in order for your goods to be released.

Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to deliver worldwide due to regulatory restrictions following updated trading agreements.

1. Which delivery partner do you use?
• DPD for most standard, next day, and click & collect deliveries.
• AIT (formally known as Panther Logistics) - for furniture and large items, on a 2 person delivery.
• Salons Direct Van for local same-day delivery.
2. What are the delivery times for items sent directly from the supplier?
Delivery lead times for such items are shown on each product's webpage.
3. Do you deliver to UK Offshore Islands?
For orders outside Mainland UK, the charges are £14.95 per 30kg, delivery on a 2-3 day service to:
• Northern Ireland
• Channel Islands
• Scottish Highlands & Islands
• Isle of Man
• Offshore Islands
Additional surcharges apply for furniture/large items (over 30kg), delivery on a 4-7 day service to:
• Northern Ireland (BT): + £60 (ex VAT)
• Channel Islands (GY, JE): + £95
• Scottish Highlands & Islands: + £60 (ex VAT)
• Isle of Man (IM): + £95 (ex VAT)
• Offshore Islands: + £60 (ex VAT)
4. Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?
Yes, but not for orders paid via PayPal or Klarna. Please contact our Customer Service Team to request an address change.
5. What should I know about furniture/large item deliveries?
• Delivery of orders over 30kg are sent via AIT Home Delivery via a 2-person service to a ground floor/first floor location of your choice.
• Failed deliveries due to absence may incur additional charges.
• We recommend arranging installation only after receiving the goods.
• Bespoke furniture orders may have longer lead times (check product pages for details).
6. Are there additional charges for customs clearance for orders delivered outside of mainland UK?
Yes. Orders delivered outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes. These charges must be paid by the recipient. If an order is refused or undelivered due to unpaid customs fees, return shipment costs will be deducted from any refund.
7. Do you offer worldwide shipping?
No, due to regulatory restrictions following updated trading agreements, we are currently unable to deliver worldwide.
