Hema Free Gel Polish
Hema free nail polish and hema free gel polish are becoming increasingly popular with nail salons and nail technicains as they reduce the possibility of an allergic reaction to nail gel polish.
Hema, also known as Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate or 2-Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate, is a light-curing monomer commonly found in gel nail polish. When Hema is polymerised under UV/LED light, gel nails become hardened and shiny. Hema is also used in other industries, such as medicine and dentistry.
Hema-free gel polish formulas do not include the tiny Hema molecules that can enter the skin and cause allergies. Instead, they may contain larger molecules that do not penetrate the skin and are not reactive under UV/LED light.
