Who created the Manta brushes?

Hairdresser, entrepreneur, and inventor Tim Binnington created Manta for his wife, Dani, who lost her hair due to a life-threatening illness.

As Dani's hair grew back, Tim watched her comb it with her fingers, too afraid of breakage to use a traditional hairbrush. During her recovery, Dani began blogging about her experiences.

As more people reached out to share their own stories—whether dealing with the side effects of cancer or seeking solutions for their beauty challenges—Tim realised there was no product that truly protected brittle, fragile, and damaged hair.

Drawing on over 30 years of experience in professional hair salons and using the latest materials and technology, Tim spent more than five years designing, developing, and perfecting the Manta.
